Our Story

It was Telugu Ugadi, 23rd March 2012 and my parents decided to throw me in the marriage market and I landed at TeluguMatrimony hoping to find someone from IT and a native of Vijayawada who has a similar mindset like that of mine. I was about to quit TM reason being majority of the profiles at that time were either written by their employees which appeared nothing more than a copy and paste job by a high school passout.

It took me 7 months to find the profile of Soujanya Priya who signed up in the last week of September 2012. She created her TM profile after coming across an advertisement online while at workplace. A majority of the profiles in TM were written either by their employees or a copy paste job and Soujanya was the one who wrote her opinion on marriage honestly. Another reason was that she's a native of Vijayawada and also has IT background. So I sent her a message on 2nd October 2012 in TM. She took her sweet own time and replied on 10th October 2012.

We intially exchanged a couple of messages over TM and then started using email and then switched to gTalk and Skype. In no time we came to know that we are clones of each other and decided to take this further and informed our parents and the traditional Pelli Chupulu happened in the last week of April 2013 on a very special day. Our Engagement happened on 22nd August 2013.
